Meet our owners
Rise Mechanical, Inc is pleased to introduce John M. Shubin as the president of Rise Mechanical, Inc. John began his career in the air conditioning trade in the year of 1999 with a small family operated HVAC company. During his early years as a tradesman he quickly worked his way up the corporate ladder as one of the top mechanics earning himself awards for taking the most service calls in a year, being on call during holidays, receiving the annual safety award and certificates for getting the job done right the first time. Starting in 2004 he attended an apprenticeship program for more than five years with classes including safety on electrical, public speaking, report writing and the fundamentals of a working air conditioning system. John also attended college and received a mathematics degree which would further develop his skills in the heating and air conditioning field. In 2009, John started Rise Mechanical as a DBA (doing business as).
During John’s time as being a DBA business he soon realized that the most valuable way to rise to the top was to find a distinguished asset to the company. During the year of 2014 Rise Mechanical underwent a major transition with Keith Nofsinger to form the current Rise Mechanical, Inc.
John currently lives on the Southern California Coast, during his leisure time he enjoys being outdoors, staying fit and earning his energy by eating healthy foods. He also continues to attend classes on the air conditioning trade to further develop his skills in this ever changing field.
Keith Nofsinger is a Navy veteran who served our country for six years during Desert Storm. After completing his military service he went to work for Public Storage, BP Oil Refinery, and then was accepted into the Air Conditioning Apprenticeship program in 2003. Through this five year program he received extensive class room and on the job training in air conditioning, refrigeration, chillers, electrical and plumbing.
Keith joined forces with John Shubin in 2014 to form Rise Mechanical, Inc.
During his free time he enjoys gardening, watching his favorites Chicago sports team, and spending time with his wife and two children.
